Public Works

The Public Works Department provides maintenance services for streets, trees, traffic control systems, parks, landscape maintenance districts, City buildings, City vehicles, graffiti removal, solid waste and recycling. The department also maintains water distribution, sewer collection and drainage systems within the City.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Public Works Department is to maintain and operate Tracy’s public facilities and infrastructure in an efficient and cost-effective manner while preserving the health, safety and aesthetics of our community.

Administration

Administrative staff provides leadership and support to all Public Works divisions.

Maintenance and Operations

The Public Works Maintenance and Operations Division provides services for the City’s infrastructure, including streets, trees, sidewalks, parks, City facilities, water, sewer and storm drains.
