Residential Utilities
DUE TO THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY, CITY HALL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AND IS NOT ACCEPTING PAYMENTS OR SERVICE FORMS IN PERSON
The Finance Department sends bills to City residents and businesses each month for water, sewer, garbage (solid waste) and storm drain services. About 25,000 bills are prepared each month. The City operates its own water and wastewater (sewer) plants as well as maintains a storm drain system. Garbage, recycling and yard waste service is provided by a private firm but the charge is combined on the City’s bill.
To sign-up for utility services, close a utility account, or authorize automatic payments, please see “Resources” to the right for the required forms. Residents can sign-up for utility services by emailing a signed Residential Utility Services Application (Spanish version) to customerservice@cityoftracy.org or fax to (209) 831-6846. Please note, copies of your rental agreement or escrow closing documents are required to be submitted with your application.
