Posted: Oct 1, 2020
Location: Tracy, Calif.

The following information is intended to serve as a resource to Tracy voters for the November 3, 2020 General Election.

Visit the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters website for voter eligibility requirements, to register to vote, to check your voter registration and election information or for other registration methods.  If you are registering or re-registering less than 15 days before an election, you will need to complete the Same-Day Voter Registration process and request your ballot in person at the county elections office or polling location.

1.     Vote-by-Mail: Send your ballot by mail or drop-off at a Vote-by-Mail location (see below). To request a Vote-by-Mail ballot after October 5, 2020, fill out the online Electronic Vote-by-Mail Application form or complete and return a Vote by Mail Application (PDF),  or you may contact the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters at (209) 468-2890 or email vbm@sjgov.org.

2.     In-person at an Official Registration Office:  Cast your ballot at the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Office.

3.     In-person at a Voter Service Center: Cast your ballot in-person at a Voter Service Center (see locations below).

Beginning October 6, 2020, there will be three Vote-by-Mail ballot drop-off locations in Tracy:

Tracy City Hall Hours of Operation

Every other Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

For information on City business hours contact (209) 831-6100.

Although the various City Departments located at City Hall remain closed to the public, the double doors at the main entrance (facing the fountain/East Street) will be open during regular business hours to allow members of the public to drop-off their Vote-by-Mail ballot.  The area will be roped off and City departments will remain closed to the public until November 4, 2020.  Face coverings and social distancing will be required, and members of the public dropping ballots off will be directed to exit through a different door within the roped-off area. The Vote-by-Mail ballot drop-off box will be supervised at all times.

On Election Day (November 3rd), voters may drop-off their Vote-by-Mail ballots at Tracy City Hall between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
