Mayor's Community Youth Support Network
Summary
The Mayor's Youth Support Network (MCYSN) is a collaborative effort involving residents, City, County, State, community-based organizations, businesses, Youth Advisory Commissioners, Parks and Community Service Commissioners, schools, parents, members of the faith based community, and local law enforcement. These individuals comes together with a desire to reach out and reconnect youth and families to services throughout the City. As a result a comprehensive strategy was developed that tapped until existing community resources and created collaborations to assist the youth in Tracy. Every individual and organization involved understands that our synergy will make a greater impact in the lives of youth within our community.
This resource guide below serves as a tool for youth and families in Tracy who are seeking assistance and guidance. This guide is also a testament to our commitment into reconnecting youth and families to service in Tracy. We are certain that with the agencies listed, you will receive excellent care and support through a variety of services.

Crime Stoppers
The mission of crime Stoppers, in partnership with citizens, media, and the criminal justice system, is to prevent and solve crimes within the Tracy region.

Students Speaking Out
Students Speaking Out provides students with a safe, informal, and anonymous system to give information about criminal activity, threats, or weapons, without fear of retaliation. If you have information about a crime committed at your school, or about threats of a crime or possible shooting.

Tracy High School Bulldog Project
The mission of the Bulldog Project is to promote anonymous reporting of bullying (Refer to Crime Stoppers Above), revitalize school spirit, and perform informational skits at middle schools to prepare students for High School. The Bulldog Project is partnered with Tracy Crime Stoppers and Students Speaking Out. The advisory board consists of Tracy Unified School District administrators, public officials and local parents.
Tracy Police Department
Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) is a citizen volunteer organization within the Tracy Police Department. VIPS members have been volunteering over eight thousand hours each year since 2004 when the organization was founded as part of the department’s Community Oriented Policing philosophy.
The Citizens Academy provides an in-depth view into various areas of law enforcement. It is an educational and informative program that gives citizens the opportunity to learn about the role of law enforcement in the City of Tracy.
