Tracy Delta Solid Waste Management, Inc. (Tracy Disposal) has a franchise agreement with the City of Tracy to provide all solid waste services. Collection begins at 4:00 a.m. in some areas of the city. It is recommended that all bins be taken out to the curb the night prior to pickup. Residents are required to wheel bins out to the curb on the appropriate garbage day, and once emptied, to remove the bins from the curb as soon as possible. Garbage is picked up once a week in the green bin. Both recyclables (in the blue bin) and yard waste (in the brown bin) are picked up every other week on alternating weeks according to your east/west designation from Tracy Blvd. All yard and garden waste must be placed inside the brown bin. Yard waste not in the bin will not be picked up. View the East Side Calendar or West Side Calendar to see the week the recycle or yard waste container should be placed by the curb for collection.

Some items cannot be placed in the garbage bins, such as electronics, appliances, and household hazardous waste. The items may be taken to different drop off locations throughout the County.
