In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA") and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (“Section 504”), the City of Tracy will neither discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities, nor exclude or deny individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to receive program benefits and services.
City of Tracy TRACER Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the City of Tracy TRACER to comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and investigating any concerns, complaints or requests regarding access to City programs, services or activities.
Public Comment and Grievance Procedures
The City of Tracy TRACER provides opportunities for interested persons, including individuals with disabilities or organizations representing individuals with disabilities, to participate in the review and development of the ADA Transition Plan by submitting comments and making specific recommendations. Please check for meeting announcements for the City Transportation Advisory Commission Panel.
Links to the ADA Grievance Form and an on-line ADA Access Request and Complaint Form are provided. The Grievance Form can be submitted to the Transportation Coordinator.
The City of Tracy Transit will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the City of Tracy programs, services, and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
A person who requires an accommodation, an auxiliary aid or service to participate in a City program, service or activity, or who requests a modification of policies or procedures, should contact the Transportation Coordinator as far in advance as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled meeting/event.
The ADA does not require the City of Tracy to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.

The City of Tracy is committed to providing services that are accessible for everyone. We continually update our website and review it for compliance.
While the majority of pages on the website meet these goals, the City of Tracy continues to host legacy documents and applications that do not. If you are having difficulties accessing information or would like to learn more, please send an email to webmaster@cityoftracy.org.
Many of the documents on the City of Tracy Web site are in HTML or ASCII (plain text) formats. These formats are generally accessible to people who use screen readers. We also have a large number of documents in Portable Document Format (PDF).
