2023 HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE

On November 22, 2023, the Draft Housing Element for the City of Tracy was submitted to the CA Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for the 90-day review period. After receiving comments from HCD, modifications were made to the document and can be reviewed below as September 2024 Draft Housing Element. The current November 2024 Housing Element has been submitted for review to (HCD).

The Draft Housing Element is currently being revised to reflect responses to the first round of HCD comments.

 

 


 

The Planning Division is responsible for implementing City policies that direct the physical development and community character of the City.

Implementation of City development policies involves analysis and establishing conformance to local implementing plans, including various Specific Plans, the Zoning Code, Growth Management Ordinance and Guidelines, Planned Unit Developments, and the City’s Design Guidelines. Project development and approvals also involve environmental analysis to determine environmental impacts.
