The Citywide Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan was adopted by the City Council on October 4, 2022 (Resolution 2022-150) and summarizes needs for parks, recreation and trails, in new and existing residential areas. The Master Plan updates existing policies, guidelines and probable construction costs for new park development as well as provides guidance for vibrant, sustainable parks and trails in existing and future service areas in order to attract new residents and promote quality of life for all.
