Future Stars Tennis - Tiny Tots

Taught in a fun, friendly environment including using foam balls. Learn basic strokes, volleys, serves, scoring, etiquette and doubles play. We provide the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game of tennis.

In this White Belt Course, students will learn the basics of Taekwondo, White Belt Hand, Kick, Self-Defense, Sparring, and Poomsae. By the end of this course, students will grow in both physical strength and mental discipline. Students who complete this course will be able to perform all White Belt curriculum and be ready to take on the challenge of Yellow Belt Course.

NEW! Tiny Tots Martial Arts

This class your child will learn to work with others and independently. We work on coordination, discipline, and self-control. Your child will also learn blocks, punching and kicks. At the end of the session, they will test and earn a new belt. This is a Parent participation course.

NEW! Students with Disabilities (WSD) Martial Arts

Have a child on the spectrum, or a disability? Come join us for a unique class. We work on coordination, blocking, punching, and kicking. We also stretch, work on self-control, and discipline. This class is dedicated to only kids with disabilities. The class improves overall health and fitness. At the end of the session your child will be eligible to test and earn a belt. We do ask for parents to stay and help volunteer as needed.

NEW! KSB Skate Dojo Skateboarding Class

Learn the basics and fundamentals of skateboarding. Skateboarding can build one’s confidence and is a great physical art form.

Note: Skateboard, helmet, & pads required. Bring your own or purchase a rental package. No scooters!

Players will learn dribbling, passing, defense and shooting goals! Fun skill games are played at every session, and every participant will have a ball at their feet. Small-sided soccer matches will be introduced gradually. Perfect for first time players while being fun and engaging for kids with some experience. All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey! Shin guards are required after the first meeting.

Design, Build, Innovate - Science becomes fun as the kids create models and see the practical application of mechanics and physics. Students implement engineering concepts as they experiment and explore the world of science in this immersive learning experience. The theme for this session is race cars.

Students will learn about engineering and computer science concepts through the world of the Sphero RVR. Campers will learn hot to operate a robot, program the robot to complete simple tasks, and use the robot with other mechanical systems to accomplish a task.

Calling budding engineers, innovators and designers to come visit The Wild West with us and create some wild models! Come build these cars and rides with us at a special Thanksgiving Week Camp with Rrooar’s Young Engineer STEM Program, Galileo Technic. Material & Supplies are included. Young Engineers is a STEM program that introduces the world of STEM to young kids in a unique way. Science becomes fun as the kids create models and see the practical application of mechanics and physics. It is a very exciting program where children get to build models and tinker with them to understand the science behind it. They have the opportunity to acquire and implement engineering concepts as they explore the world of science. With Bricks Challenge the kids explore classic mechanics.

Chess camp promotes the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and self-discipline. Participants will play in training games with other participants. Participants should bring a water bottle and snacks. Fee includes a ribbon award at the end of the program.

Lifeguard Training

Becoming a lifeguard requires lots of hard work and the desire to help save lives. Each student is required to pass prerequisite swim skill assessments before permitted to continue in the course; knowing how to swim is required to be successful. Once permitted to continue with the course students will work towards CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification.

Anyone interested in pursuing lifeguard certifications can typically find employment with local cities, health clubs, and swim leagues. Want to get yourself in shape or improve your current fitness level? Want to be able to protect yourself or a loved one? We have combined real world self-defense, boxing systems, pressure point striking, and MMA techniques. We also incorporate resistance, weights, and Tabata intervals to help achieve goals at much faster rate. This also creates well rounded, confident students improving themselves, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Class is taught by an instructor who holds a 4th degree black belt in MMA, and black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Our students learn proper form and structure. All fitness levels welcome and class can be modified for injuries or physical limitations. Fun, challenging and music to keep you moving.

With age-appropriate rackets, pathway balls and professional instruction, players will have fun learning the basic strokes, footwork, and rallying. In addition, players will learn singles and doubles drills to improve their skills, tactics, and player/team positioning to prepare them for set play.

This class is an extension of Foundations 101. This class will focus on further developing you and your dog's foundation skill sets. We will continue to build on obedience and explore more advanced tools and concepts in the journey to having a "well-trained dog." Don't worry if you missed 101 as this class will also give you a starting point and much to think about. This class is a mixture of conversation and practical application.
