This Operations (PW) Division provides maintenance services for the City's infrastructure (streets, street trees, sidewalks, neighborhood parks, water, sewer, storm drains, streetlights and traffic signals). Maintenance and Operations also provides internal support for City-owned facilities and equipment.

• Street Maintenance
  Maintains and repairs 241 centerline miles of roadway surfaces on City streets. Responds to illegally dumped debris, clean-up spills and supports other Public Works divisions.
• Sidewalk Maintenance
  Maintains and repairs concrete surfaces of City streets, including sidewalks and curb gutters as needed.
• Street Sweeping
  The City provides sweeping services for City roadways.
• Tree Maintenance (non-landscape district)
  Maintains City-owned trees in non-landscape districts, including inspections, trimming, removal and new planting as funding permits.
• Traffic Maintenance
  Maintains traffic control markings (crosswalks, traffic lines, etc.) and signage (stop signs, roadway delineators, buttons, no parking signs, etc).
• Graffiti Removal
  Removal of graffiti from public properties.
• Central Garage
  Provides repairs and preventive maintenance of City-owned vehicles and equipment.
• Building Maintenance
  Maintains all City buildings and facilities.
• Custodial Operations
  Manages custodial service to City-owned facilities.
