SMART IRRIGATION CONTROLLER REBATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMMERCIAL AND MULTI-FAMILY PROPERTIES
Eligibility
- Commercial, Multi-Family, and Institutional City of Tracy Utility customers with currently irrigated and maintained landscape, served by an active potable water account in good standing are eligible to apply
- Properties may require a site pre-inspection and all properties must be approved by City of Tracy Utilities Department before the project is started. Projects that are completed before City of Tracy approval DO NOT QUALIFY. Rebates are not retroactive.
Program Requirements and Product Qualifications
- Application form must be signed by the property owner or property owner’s agent or designee with express consent by the property owner to the Rebate Program Terms and Conditions, and Rebate Agreement/Release of Liability.
- A pre-installation inspection by City of Tracy Utilities Department staff may be required to verify Program Eligibility.
- All equipment must be purchased new and be properly installed according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Completed Project Submittal Form and purchase receipts/ invoices must be submitted within six months of Approval to Proceed notice.
- A post-installation inspection by City of Tracy Utilities Department staff is required to verify qualifying equipment has been installed and Program Qualifications have been met.
- Rebated equipment must be properly maintained and operated for the useful life of the equipment.
