The Capital Improvement (Design) Division of Engineering is responsible for the planning and design of all City of Tracy capital improvement projects. Capital improvement projects include such things as the construction, repair and improvements of public streets, utility pipelines (water, sewer and storm drain lines), pump stations, bridges, bike paths, public buildings and public parks. Staff in this Division coordinates land acquisition activities necessary to facilitate capital improvement projects and the preparation of assessments maps.
